The Kashé Project - God's Gift

This initiative combines elements of personal growth, self-defense, weapon safety and the art of dance, creating a well-rounded educational experience. Our core intent is to combat pressing issues like youth victimization, gun violence, and bullying that plague underserved communities. The Kashé Project serves as a proactive solution by instilling valuable life skills and fostering resilience in our community. 

Through the Kashé Project, students learn the importance of a positive mindset, which encourages them to embrace challenges and setbacks as opportunities for personal development. They also acquire defensive tactics and maneuvers to ensure their safety and well-being, while being educated on weapon safety and handling, empowering them to navigate their environments confidently. 

As an added bonus, we'll also incorporate Afro-Samba, a central component of our program, offering a creative outlet for self-expression while promoting physical fitness and emotional wellness. This artistic element not only enriches lives but also contributes to a sense of community and belonging.

Most importantly, the Kashé Project equips individuals with the ability to advocate for themselves. This skill is invaluable, as it helps build confidence and empowers them to make positive choices.
